Classes
Space Hoppers - Mother & Toddler - Mother and Toddler class supervised by a CRB checked British Gymnastics Coach. Activities include Free play, Parachute, Hand Apparatus, Games, Obstacle Courses, Songs, Free Play, Inflatable air track, Fast track Trampoline, Bars, Balance Beam, Sprung Floor & Movement to Music. This class is a fun and informal class which requires Parent/Carer participation. It is an opportunity for Parent/Carer & child to interact and communicate with each other. This class is not a structured class and parent/carer must supervise their children at all times. Tea/coffee will be availiable free of charge in this class but it must not be taken into the gym.
Pre-School Gymnastics - Structured one hour gymnastics classes for children aged 3-5. Children are led by British Gymnastics pre-school coaches to learn core skills such as co-ordination, balance, confidence, motor skills, jumping, climbing and rolling. Children have the opportunity to work towards proficiency badges and use all apparatus. These classes run alongside some of our general classes making them ideal for siblings - only one drop off for mum or dad!!
General Gymnastics - Structured one/1.5 hour classes for boys and girls aged 4+ led by our CRB checked professional coaches. Children will learn the fundamentals of gymnastic skills and moves through a planned programme using all of the apparatus. Children will have the opportunity to work towards 'merits' which are awarded when children can competently perform certain skills. Classes are progressive and aim to allow children to reach their own potential and thereby achieve success. General gymnastics classes are provided from Monday to Saturday.
Tumbling - Our Tumbling classes are one/two hour classes that focus on floor skills only. We incorporate our spring floors, trampolines, fast track and air track to develop skills. We have tumbling classes Beginner through Advanced. If you are a cheerleader or want to improve your tumbling THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Cheerleading (3-8 yrs) - Cheerleading is a gymnastic discipline practised worldwide and incorporating jumps, dance, tumbling, stunts, cheers and chants under the 3 distinct activities: Cheerleading, Cheer Dance, Pom Dance. Children are led by British Gymnastics CRB checked qualified Cheerleading coaches to learn basic cheer skills, tumbling moves, chants and stunts. Classes are led by our resident professional choreographer and West End performer. Children will have the opportunity to perform routines at competitions and local events.
Parkour/Freerunning – 10+ - European street tumbling geared for older, adventurous dudes interested in learning strength, agility, and incredible physical skills in an awesome, all-guys, fast-paced, challenging environment. This class provides a safe, low-pressure way to try out new moves on the right training equipment before taking it to the street. The Parkour class gives participants the opportunity to utilize the specialized equipment available at our facility to develop movement skills from a basic to an advanced level. Fast track, street gymnastics, and safe landing skills will be the focus. An instructor will guide participants through the fundamentals that are necessary to pursue advanced acrobatics, free-running skills, and freestyle gymnastics!!
Adult Gymnastics 16+ - These sessions are structured under the guidance of qualified and very experienced coaches and use all equipment. This class caters for complete beginners to advanced ex-gymnasts wanting some exercise to keep fit and to see what they can still achieve!
Gymnastics & Dance - A combined two hour class - 1st hour in Dance studios learning a routine which is a combination of street and contemporary dance. 2nd hour in the gymnasium for a general gymnastics session.
