Becky was a Welsh International Gymnast for eleven years. She was part of the Welsh Commonwealth Games squad in 1998 and achieved Welsh International feathers at both Junior and Senior level. Becky is a CRB checked fully qualified British Gymnastics Pre-School and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach. She has been a Senior Gymnastics coach at Cardiff Olympic Gymnastics Club for the last ten years and runs Gymnastics holiday camps during school holidays. Becky has extensive experience of the set up and delivery of gymnastic services having worked in Cardiff Council run Leisure centres on a casual basis for five years coaching Mother and Toddler, Pre-school and grass roots recreational gymnastics Programmes. Becky has  worked in numerous Cardiff Schools to deliver an after school extra curricular Gymnastics programme and previously worked as a cover supervisor in Cathays high school covering English and P.E classes for year 7 - year 13 pupils aged between 11 and 18. This has given Becky expert knowledge of delivering the National Curriculum skills framework to pupils and an ability to liaise, communicate and motivate young people. Becky has up to date certified knowledge of Child Protection in Sport and Equity in Coaching and is responsible for a GymMark project at Cardiff Olympic which will award the club with a quality mark in its delivery of Gymnastics programmes.

Denise has been the head coach of Cardiff Olympic Gymnastics club for over 30 years. Throughout her time at the club she has managed to train gymnasts from all levels, ranging from Grass roots to elite. Denise’s distinguished coaching style is invaluable and her involvement within Planet Gymnastics will play a big part in developing classes and ensuring good customer relations are held with children and parent alike. 

 

In addition to her gymnastic background Denise has a range of experience in the theatre arts on an amateur level. This can only strengthen our knowledge and awareness of developing the theatre arts element in the facility.

Lauren Morgan

 

General Gymnastics coach. Choreographer. First aid at Work. Level 2 Street Cheer. Currently working towards Level 2 NVQ in playwork

 

Lauren is a full time coach/playworker in after school club. As an ex area gymnast and trampolinist Lauren has over 10 years Gymnastics experience. Lauren is also a dancer and actress having performed in hundreds of stage shows and musicals. At the age of just 9 Lauren took the lead role of Jemima in the Original Cast of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' on the West end with Michael Ball. This wealth of performance experience aids Lauren in producing numerous fantastic floor routines for our artistic squad.

 

Ryan Davies

 

Level 2 General Gymnastics. First aid at Work. Currently working towards Level 2 NVQ in playwork.

Ryan is a full time coach in general gymnastics and parkour and works as a playworker in our after school club. Ryan is an ex-club gymnast and has been with the club for over 15 years.

 

Louise Norman

 

Level 3 Cache Diploma in childcare. First aid at Work. Food Hygeine.

Louise is our afterschool club and holiday club manager. Louise has a welath of experience in working with children in daycare nurseries. Louise spent several years working at Playbox nurseries Penylan and currently divides her time between our 'Little Stars' after school club and Hazelhurst Nursery Penarth.
